Thank you for visiting the Ultimate Boxing website. This site has been created to give you an understanding of what Ultimate Boxing is all about.
We are a boxing training establishment which caters both for people that want to train just for fitness (see Health & Fitness) and also people that want to box competitively. (See White Collar)
At Ultimate Boxing we welcome everybody over 16 years old to train, regardless of current fitness level or ability. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never done boxing or fitness sports before, if you are a beginner willing to learn we will take you through the boxing workouts step by step, building your fitness and stamina levels as we go.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to train in a fully equipped boxing gymnasium but didn’t know where to find one, or felt too intimidated to walk into your local amateur club with loads of super-fit, experienced boxers?
Well now’s your chance because that fully equipped boxing gym is here (See Facilities) and bearing in mind the larger majority of our members are beginners, you can rest assured that you will be training in a friendly,
un-intimidating atmosphere.
Having said all that, this club also has a lot to offer the experienced boxer. If you have trained or boxed before (recently or not so recently) we will be more than happy to put you through your paces!
There is no prejudice at Ultimate Boxing, we encourage both men and women young and not so young to come and try it out. Our current members range in age from 16 to 60; there is no upper age limit. The main cross section of trainees are aged between 20 and 45 but no one over 16 should be put off. For under 16’s you can contact us and we will put you in touch with the amateur boxing club for the appropriate age group.
As well as training facilities and coaching we also offer nutritional advice and we stock a range of boxing equipment from B.B.E (Britannia Boxing Equipment) among others. However if you don’t wish to invest in your own gloves etc you are quite welcome to use ours. (We have plenty.)
Boxing is more than just a fitness regime and much more than just ‘fighting’. It is a noble art that has fascinated people from poverty to royalty for hundreds of years.
Having trained and competed in boxing myself, I can honestly put my hand on my heart and tell you that boxing is beautiful and it is an honour and a pleasure to be involved in this wonderful adrenaline sport.
